In memoriam: Bryn Devonald, Ely branch

Bryn Devonald was born in 1934 in Haverfordwest. During the Second World War, when his father was called up into the Royal Air Force, Bryn and his mother went to live with his grandmother in Porth, where his grandad was a miner, and he attended school there. They returned West on his dad’s return in 1945

Sad passing of Cllr Jim Murphy

Cardiff West CLP was sorry to hear of the passing of long-standing Ely Cllr Jim Murphy, who died in early December. Jim was a stalwart of the constituency, acting as CLP Treasurer for many years. He was hugely respected and liked amongst not only his Labour Party comrades but also by his community in Ely.

Outcome of Special Conference- Victory for One Member One Vote

Saturday 15th September marked a resounding victory for the One Member One Vote campaign, as CLPs, Women’s Fora and affiliates gathered in County Hall in Cardiff to vote on the two proposed options.
